The video, <strong>premi\u00e8red on New Noise Mag<\/strong>,\n was shot in the woods by director Enrico Fappani, and creates the \natmosphere of a dark fairytale, using symbols, a wicked scenery and the \npowerful presence of Rita\u2019s gestures and voice, which could remind \nfemale artists as <strong>Kate Bush, Lydia Lunch or Nina Hagen.<\/strong><br><strong><em>Green Line<\/em><\/strong> is dedicated to <strong>Beirut<\/strong>,\n Tekeyan\u2019s native city. \u2018Green Line\u2019 was the green linear area on \nBeirut\u2019s map during the civil war, dividing Beirut by East and West, and\n it was one of the most dangerous and devastated areas of Beirut.<br>The\n images of Beirut in the Green Line album booklet were taken by Rita \nTekeyan in post-war Beirut in 2016, in various locations of the Green \nLine area, as she searched for the hidden traces of war and the deep \nscars that will never be ereased.<br><br><em>Green Line<\/em> is a \nmusical project where whispers and silence are as essential as screams. \nPieces of memories are put together in a new order, a new dimension, the\n music dimension, the words dimension; a reconstruction of space and \ntime through music and words, inspired by <strong>Deconstructivism<\/strong> and the \u201c<strong>Poetics of Space<\/strong>\u201d of French philosopher <strong>Gaston Bachelard<\/strong>.\n Tekeyan\u2019s album is part of the project which focuses on war stories and\n details, events that are unknown to most people, events that no radio \nor television program would talk about, events insignificant to the \nregular eye but huge in the eyes of a child.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/agiantleappromotion.files.wordpress.com\/2021\/04\/photo-credit-nikita-rosa-selvaggia-10web.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5503\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><br><br><br>Dopo il <strong>debutto del 2015, Manifesto Anti-War<\/strong>, la cantante, musicista e performer Rita Tekeyan torna col nuovo album <strong><em>Green Line<\/em><\/strong>, disponibile dal <strong>24 Aprile su Seahorse Recordings<\/strong>. Di <strong>origini armene<\/strong> ma nata in <strong>Libano<\/strong>, Rita \u00e8 <strong>ora residente in Italia<\/strong>, a Desenzano sul Garda.<br><br><strong><em>Devil\u2019s OB<\/em><\/strong>, il <strong>primo singolo<\/strong>,\n \u00e8 stato pubbicato il 02 Aprile. E\u2019 un brano stregato, sofferto, eppur \nsognante, che racconta di conflitti interni, ossessioni, disperazione e \nfollia. Il video, presentato in <strong>anteprima da New Noise Mag<\/strong>,\n \u00e8 stato girato nei boschi dal regista Enrico Fappani, e crea \nl\u2019atmosfera di una favola dark, usando simboli, un paesaggio incantato e\n la presenza scenica di Rita, dei suoi gesti e della sua voce, che \npotrebbe ricordare artiste femminili come <strong>Kate Bush, Lydia Lunch e Nina Hagen<\/strong>.<br><br>Green Line \u00e8 dedicato a <strong>Beirut<\/strong>,\n la citt\u00e0 natale della Tekeyan. La \u201cGreen Line\u201d (linea verde) era \nquell\u2019area lineare segnata sulle mappe col colore verde durante la \nguerra civile, che divideva Beirut Est da Beirut Ovest, ed era l\u2019area \nmaggiormente pericolosa e devastata della citt\u00e0.<br>Le immagini di \nBeirut nel booklet dell\u2019album sono della stessa Rita Tekeyan, scattate \nnella Beirut post guerra del 2016, alla ricerca di tracce nascoste del \nconflitto e di cicatrici che non si rimargineranno.<br>Green Line \u00e8 un \nprogetto musicale in cui i sussurri e il silenzio sono essenziali come \nle urla. Pezzi di memoria sono riassemblati in un nuovo ordine, una \nnuova dimensione, quella della musica e dei versi, che ricostruiscono lo\n spazio e il tempo.
